– Managing from the daily happenings standpoint
At this point of the debate, starting the year, putting the eyes on the three themes of relevance indicated by Mr. Christoph Schweizer, of Boston Consulting Group (BCG), to be thoroughly discussed in #Davos 2025 Meeting, and which can be read here - https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/message-from-our-ceo-boston-consulting-group-vkqie/, is:
- particularizing about #AI, what the general public would follow as a better trend – and at the end influencing it, the ¾ of the leaders giving importance to this tool, or the ¼ that didn't give a deep business meaning to their features, yet?
My humble opinion is that it is a question of mindset and generation approach. Those already prepared executives able to anticipate the changes and influences of the AI capabilities in their business sectors, since the #Backoffice to the #CRM, #Sales and #Logistics – at the first incursion and most prominent processes which are presenting good returns in short term AI related investments, again, will be at the cutting edge of the initiatives in the theme, benefiting their investors promptly.
- in the #Geopolitics arena, many other factors are affecting the good relationship among the countries and, many more, among the “economic blocks” – even considering those associations that are not so expressive in the contemporary moment, like #MERCOSUL, #BRICS (more political than economic, currently, but expanding) and so on. Just to cite an example, the imbroglio involving the tariffs of agriculture commodities from #MERCOSUL to #EU and the related subsides from part to part – especially those granted to French producers, turning difficult the start of the agreement encompassing many other economic sectors, jamming the traders.
My humble opinion is that the influence of party wings, as difficult as it could seem in the modern and globalized markets, could put at the same side historically different vision country leaders to negotiate under better conditions, opening new ways to their respective markets. A risk neglected before, mainly by the conservative wing, that could increase these aspects of trade among countries is the #ClimateChangesCrisis, affecting the offer of products directly but also logistics, availability of infrastructure and so on.
- to the #Growth and #Productivity, it is clear that in a context of budgets review – as annually happens as well as each triennium and in cycles of 5 to 10 years of investment depending on the organization lines of business, all the processes, positions and vacancies will be closely assessed to confront the challenges that the market is presenting for those spotted periods. Would be that the opportunity to really advance and practice AI based strategies? To implement changes is always expensive to the organizations.
Recurring to the AI is important in the attempt of trying expand the possible scenarios, including costs, market movements and the positioning the organization and competitors would be in an imagined future from the worst to the better landscapes and environments.
My humble opinion is that, to make the simple and thrive, unfortunately for some profiles of organizations, leaders and executives, the mindset and generation management allied to the step by step growing of sophistication in the AI models to assess the possibilities of the future environments presenting many conflicts of interest with party wings aspects being leveraged, beyond the economic blocks representing more than a unique flag and population, must be, from the initial conditions, at a term by term updated.
#Complexity never was so present as we can observe in these days and from now on, with a pinch of #CC – which should not be out of the scenarios, either.
